This was our sixth visit in ten years and as usual, perfect. We enjoyed many hikes, reading and relaxing. We appreciate the care renters and Forest Service personnel give to keep the cabin in such good condition. People coming for the first time should know there is a coffee maker, microwave, toaster along with a few plates and cups. Since there isn't a water supply, suggest bringing disposable dinnerware. Stove door is broken and the heater in the main room doesn't work. Forest Service has this on their list to be addressed. The Muddy Guard Cabin is a gem.

Nice relaxing cabin. No running water.

Love this cabin! Have been coming for a few years now. Has more than you would think and well taken care of!
