bring lots of wood with you, the walk to the outhouse is scary at night, it was slick on the bridge across the creek. Need lots of light with the shutters closed, so bring your heavy-duty sleeping bags hand wipes and cleaners and lights, no campfires outside, burn ban. the brooms there were worn out and no mop or mop bucket if you can't climb narrow steep steps then plan ahead, cots might be a good idea. wash tubs and cook stove also needed and full water jugs.

Beautiful location and neat history! Cabin is beautifully restored. Needs some TLC. A good clean, holes filled to protect from the mice, and new mattresses.
