We have been coming to Crescent Mining Camp for several years and love it. It is great that you rent to cabins so that you can bring a friend or two. We also go to the Dawson Cabin down the road (also available to rent on recreation.gov). I like the Crescent Mining Camp's location next to Clear Creek. It is always fun to check out what the beavers have been up to. The cabins are cozy and provide safety from bears and the elements. We love that we can bring our two dogs. They know where we are when we pull in and get VERY excited because they are glad to be there. We bring our cots, propane stove, and cooking supplies, plus the dogs' equipment.

We had a beautiful time once we got there. We ended up experiencing not receiving the confirmation email with the combination and had to call the 800 number to get combination. But everything worked out great and we had a great time.! I would recommend.

Place was perfect. Same with Dawson's cabin down the road. Clean, remote, all basic amenities provided. Loved it.

Beautiful spot. Road up is very rough and nearest town is 1 hour + so be prepared. Lots of bugs due to the beaver pond 100 ft from the cabins.
