Always a wonderful stay! Cabin was clean, cozy, and well stocked with firewood and cooking necessities. Highly recommend the nearby hiking up Hogback or Sandstone—though ticks were again prevalent up Hogback in mid-March.

This homestead was great. Very well appointed. While I was there I read a book about Annie and Jocko, which added so much to the experience. I wish we had stayed longer, but hope to come back soon. My husband, Jack Morrison, had spent time there as a teenager with the Puyear grandsons, so it was a great for him to get a chance to reminisce. Thanks for the experience. Very upscale FS cabin. Almost like visiting someone's home, especially nice during the off season when traffic is light or non-existent.
