I come here once or twice a year and I’ve always had a great time. The camp host has always been helpful. My only issue is that in the showers there are exposed electrical connections next to the sink on the eastern shower. The showerheads could use a cleaning or replacement as well. It would also be nice if there was someplace to sit or something to hang onto while I’m changing clothes and getting ready for the shower. Us 70-year-old plus people just can’t balance like we used to years ago.

Lake Shore is a beautiful spot, and we rented it for the entire weekend. We didn’t camp overnight but did leave a few of our belongings there. When we came back the next morning, those items had been taken. Just a heads up to others—if you’re not planning to stay the night here, I would recommend not leaving anything overnight unless you’re okay with the risk of it going missing.
