Lake Shore is a beautiful spot, and we rented it for the entire weekend. We didn’t camp overnight but did leave a few of our belongings there. When we came back the next morning, those items had been taken. Just a heads up to others—if you’re not planning to stay the night here, I would recommend not leaving anything overnight unless you’re okay with the risk of it going missing.

The place needs some maintnenance. It's beautiful but the things there need maintaining. The spigot blasts air, the smoke grates need replacing, none of the lantern hangers have hooks anymore

We really like this camp site and have been many times. Good facilities, bathrooms and showers were clean. We usually camp here in January or February when it is cooler, but it was unusually warm the Feb weekend we were there this year. That may have been the cause for an issue we’ve never had before, but the place was infested with ticks and chiggers. Most of us have dozens of chigger bites and one person sat near the lake to fish and was covered in ticks. If there’s any kind of treatment that can be applied to the area it would probably be a big help.
