Nice cabin in a beautiful location. It was quiet, with the exception of the babbling Canyon Creek. Very well stocked, and clean, with plenty of firewood. Pay careful attention to the directions as Google Maps sent us on an extremely bad road.

The is one of my favorite cabins! We skied in 5 miles to get to it and it was a super great ski. Plenty of supplies (paper towels, dishes, garbage bags) and wood. Plenty of wood to split to replenish the split wood pile for the next people. **there is no lantern** Inside the cabin, it says there should be a back up stove, there is not one. But the current stove works great. **Bring 2 AAA batteries for the twinkle lights if you'd like. They are great for the dark winter nights! Highly recommend!!

In the journals it seems it has been like this for over 6 weeks. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Also, there was hardly any firewood so thankfully we had brought some and left enough for a few more guests. It's a rough drive for a car up to Vipond Park but it's really worth it! You also can see the road to the cabin and look down at the charcoal kilns from up there. Got to see some moose up there too. Bring some waders or high boots to hike the creek up the canyon. It was a blast! There were only about 6 pages left in the journal so if somebody could bring a blank hardcover book for future guests it would be appreciated. We remembered how bad the windows were so we brought razor blade scrapers and window cleaner and spent a lot of time getting the windows cleaned. Did not get the outside windows that were covered with nailed down screens though. Still we made a huge improvement.

This cabin is just perfect. Beautifully situated and this was our 9th visit.
