Outstanding stay. I was surprised to find a microwave and all the kitchen supplies. My 7 1/2 year old granddaughter kept saying, "Look at the views. This is amazing." You know it must be something special when that happens.

The road coming in is not for the feint of car, my poor Subaru Impreza got beached on a patch of snow/ice and we had to abandon the car and hike up. The second you see snow or ice and you don't have at least 7 inches of ground clearance you should turn around because it will only get worse, don't worry there is parking at the bottom of the dirt road! Overall, we had an amazing time and had signal the entire time, so we felt safe! There is only a small wall mounted space heater upstairs and you need to bring your own blankets which for a 2-mile hike MAX it's not bad, during the summer it'll only be a mile due to the road being in good shape. Totally worth doing again!
