Awesome little cabin, BRING LIGHTS!! Well kept, no frills. There were no lights but we rounded up a mantle or two and got the lantern working. Great area.

When you’re looking to get away from EVERYTHING this is the perfect place! It brings you back to the simplicity of life and helps you appreciate the little things! We are so grateful for the ability to utilize these cabins!

We stayed at the Hells Canyon Guard Station near Twin Bridges, Montana twice in 2019, once in late July and once in late August. Insect life had tapered off by late August, so it was a more enjoyable stay in that regard. Both trips, no complaints about the facilities, fire wood was getting low in July, but I reported it to the USFS, and by the next trip the shed was full! Both visits were fun, just make sure not to forget anything because it is about an hour drive from the blacktop of Highway 41 to the cabin, just past mile marker 15! Silica Butte, a grassy knob to the north around mile marker 14 is a fun hike, the rock outcrops are beautiful white rock.

The experience was wonderful. We enjoyed the weekend and wished we could stay longer.

My husband I loved it and want to rent the cabin again in the summer. It was the best thing that happened to us in a long time. I also loved the cabin at the notch and hope that we can spend time there again. It was quiet and the fishing was excellent for us to enjoy. A great photo opportunity every day and night that we were there.
