Great location and beautiful cabin, well kept and clean. Basic amenities, perfectly perfect for a few days, a week or even more. Built in 1952, solid wood, stone fireplace, private grounds, kitchen, living, dining, bath and bedroom; a real pleasure to be there. It’s a quick jaunt across the road to a gorgeous lake, babbling brook/creek, national forest and trails.

Sixth stay at this cabin. We love this place. Has every thing we need. Grateful for the updates since we were there last. Very relaxing and great scenery. Did a little detailed cleaning, only because we wanted to.

Great place great experience. However It’s impossible to get a hold of the rangers and reservation.com is totally unresponsive to adding additional nights. The Friday Saturday rule is ridiculous.

We have been to Lake Isabel cabin several times and always enjoy it no matter the season. Great cozy place with everything you need, we look forward to our next visit in July.
