Second time at Louella Cabin and had a great time again! It’s a beautiful and quiet spot with amazing surroundings to enjoy and explore. Cabin is clean and cozy, including the honey bucket bathroom located near the fire pit. Bring lots of water and you can grab big bundles of firewood for $5/bundle at a little hut just down the road on your way to the cabin. Many pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and a cutting board included at the cabin make it a comfortable stay!

What a great cabin! Quiet, out of the way, and has just enough amenities to make for a comfortable night amongst the trees. Check out the buckhorn wilderness nearby

The historic cabin makes you feel like you are living long ago…in the woods. The heater kept us plenty warm. The use of the outhouse and our own water hauled kept us in tune with simplicity. The annoyance of a midnight outhouse run was tempered by the dazzling light show from above.

Didn't know that pots, pans, plates and utensils were provided so we had brought our own. Also didn't know that there's a gas stove in the kitchen, too. Bring folding chairs to sit outside and watch the stars, satellites, and shooting stars from the front yard!

Such a cool cabin! We didn't see or hear any signs of mice. Outhouse was very clean. All appliances worked great in the kitchen. We had a great time.

Bring plenty of water. Our five gallon container leaked so we were short of dish washing water. We loved the cabin- the stories that are written in the journals really get your imagination going- great story writing. The fireplace was amazing after an all day hike in the clouds- we really appreciated the warmth of the fire. We loved the quick proximity to Sequim so you can get anything you want within a very short distance. A great place to hike- Tubal Cane- such an historic hike. We were up there for 7.5 hours. I have always wanted to hike that route but it was too far for a one day trek . Staying at the cabin allowed for a short drive to the trail head and a hike I got to experience. One more check on my bucket list!
