The cabin was very comfortable for the two of us, well supplied with pots and dishes, cots, and even games and puzzles. No sign of mice (reported by others). Snow was crusty, but we had a nice snowshoe. Windy and chilly, but the wood stove kept us plenty warm.

incredible spot. barely made it before dark. usb outlet from solar panel would be nice for emergency charging of cell phone. outhouse could use better ventilation. wood stove, solar lights and propane stove worked great. snow melted for water worked great. wolf tracks nearby were a pleasant surprise. amazing silence and darkest sky for stargazing ive seen in years. will b back

Cozy, well-stocked and tidy little cabin. Sleeps 4 but it would be cozy. We were a party of 2 and that was ideal. We had a comfortable stay despite a blizzard! Fun skiing nearby. Navigation there in winter requires some planning / skill - we found it the cabin pretty easily with the Gaia app and maps but another party told us they had trouble locating it, especially since the path had been thoroughly buried in the snow and was not obvious particularly as you get closer to the cabin. At least on a clear day you can see the cabin in the distance. There are intermittent blazes and ribbons marking the trail. Would recommend highly!

I love that it takes some effort to not only get here, but to stay here which is not something a lot of people are willing to do. One of my favorite close to home places to visit.
