cabin was clean when we got there, yard recently mowed, outhouse spotless, signs of continued improvement of the structure and equipment/supplies. sad to see the tree in front yard gone, taken by a wind storm but in reality taken by years of abuse by guests who allow hacking and chipping away at the trunk which eventually starved the tree of sap.

What an awesome cabin, some spectacular views and good hiking right there! We saw a few deer and moose while there. The sunsets are hard to beat. bathroom was nice, cabin was in good shape. Be prepared for the mice invasion at night ( you could hear them running around inside the cabin). We cleaned all surfaces again each morning and found plenty of evidence.

This was our third time renting the cabin. Everything was great except for the large window in the bedroom with the two beds slid next to each other. The crank on the window is broken and the previous guests just left it open which wasn't there fault. I managed to close and seal the window but if anyone tries to open it again they might not be able to close it securely. Otherwise it was perfect and we hope to return again!

Really cool cabin with wood burning stove! Very close access to trails and great view of the Bridgers from a distance.

The cabin was awesome! Really a nice spot to relax. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was people camping at the trailhead which is only 200 feet away from cabin. There were at least 20 people that came up to camp at night while we were staying there. The road goes right in front of the cabin and there were vehicles coming driving by for hours. It wasn’t exactly the off grid remote cabin I thought it would be but it was still really enjoyable!

This cabin was beautiful. Well stocked with pots pans utensils puzzles and games. Such an amazing spot. We saw a bull moose in the field by the cabin. Thank you Forest Service for a fabulous place to stay.

Cabin was clean when we arrived. good weather, beautiful views of the Shields Valley and the Bridgers. Left a Kindle behind and the District Ranger somehow managed to get it returned to us three days after we left.
