This was our third time renting the cabin. Everything was great except for the large window in the bedroom with the two beds slid next to each other. The crank on the window is broken and the previous guests just left it open which wasn't there fault. I managed to close and seal the window but if anyone tries to open it again they might not be able to close it securely. Otherwise it was perfect and we hope to return again!

The Porcupine Cabin is awesome! Plenty of firewood and the cabin holds heat really well! No mice were spotted. Bring your own propane if you want to use the 2-burner stove. We had a great time! The road getting there was pretty rough after the first snow of the year.

The Porcupine Cabin is a large cabin in a nice area. The cabin has 3 rooms and a nice wood stove. The cabin is fairly well sealed, but there are some mice in the walls and attic and the occasional mouse that will run across the floor at night, so keep your food and trash well stored. The cabin has a large lovely porch. There is no reliable water source nearby, so bring plenty of water. Bears frequent the area, so don't leave any food or attractants unattended. Lots of interesting owls swoop around the area at dusk.

Was cold and snowy. After a slight cleaning & getting some kindling we had the cabin comfortable.
