We hoped to stay at Schnaus and finally a night opened up at the last minute and we snatched it. The place is very private. It is well appointed. There’s beds for 12. The view is awesome. Highly recommended

Beautiful views from a great rustic front deck.

I have stayed in several of the cabins in the Glacier Park area and this one is one of the best! The property and views are AMAZING and the cabin is set up very well. I will be looking for a date to stay there again. There is no well on the property, so make sure to bring enough water for all the meal prep, dish washing, drinking, and cleaning activities. The bed are mostly comfortable, but make sure to bring your sleeping bags and pillows due to the possibility of rodent droppings and exposure. Great experience overall and I will be looking for a way to stay there again!

Great cabin, there is a problem with the propane line feeding the lights in the great room. We lit them and turned them off a couple times and when they were off, the room smelled of propane. We turned off the supply line to those lights and the smell was gone. We will definitely come back if we can get another reservation, we love that cabin. Might need some mouse traps, we noticed a few droppings in the kitchen one morning.

The cabin is located in a quite, middle of the forest location. We loved being able to have camp fires and enjoy the beauty all around. We hiked near by and floated the river. A truly enjoyable experience
