Great experience. Propane dual burner stove working great. Double bunk beds are roomy enough for 8. Wood supplies available. Others or FS left disinfectant wipes, dish soap, toilet paper, matches, cast iron pan, stockpot (great for melting snow for water), propane lantern, and plastic bin for washing dishes. Splitting maul, hand ax, shovel, and broom are also there. Every trip the previous visitors have left plenty of split wood and kindling. We always take supplies and leave for the next crew. Chop extra wood and kindling for the next group because they maybe arriving later than expected and it’s cold at night. Expect 2+ hour slog into the yurt. 2/3 rds of the route in is uphill (900ish feet vert). Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Take time to hike up to Limber Flag hill in down time.

We had a great time and can't wait to come back during non-COVID times with friends! Even though they seem to have cut down on kitchen supplies, you do NOT need to bring any extra fuel or cookware besides cutlery and bowls/plates... we were unsure what we would be working with so we definitely overpacked. There are also shovels and lots of firewood. You should bring extra fire starter material, though.

We enjoyed our winter yurt trip. The 3 miles in and out were quite strenuous but the overall experience at the yurt was great. The views were gorgeous and the yurt was well equipped and spacious. We can't wait to come back with a few more friends maybe in the summer time!
