We went middle of July in a dry summer and still had amazing wildflowers all around the cabin and on the drive from Afton. We saw moose, deer, and cranes! A couple tiny creeks literally surround the cabin, but maybe that’s what lead to so many mosquitoes. The fridge worked well, the windows screens were tired but intact so we could open the windows and still keep the flies and mosquitoes out. The beds were solid and mattresses sufficient. Our main concern was at times the very strong smell of propane inside the cabin, which was scary. The outhouse door hinges were ripped out but we got the door cobbled back together enough to use. We had a nice hike up a bit of the Lander trail, found lots of the tiniest strawberries I’ve ever seen but they were delicious!l It’s not the Marriott- but that was kinda the point!

Such a incredible location, cabin is cozy, has a nice propane heater, we didn't even need the wood stove. Plenty of firewood in the shed. Great place to snowmobile, the trail was well groomed

Nice and cousy cabin, cleaner them expected and with the wild life around. Just reaching it took quite some time, cause the road required adjusted speed due to unexpected huge holes.
