This cabin was a real surprise. Private, cozy. But watch out for the mice. Found one in the back of the pickup two days later. Must have been in our gear. Check out the slag piles down the road. Also, check out the CCC camp just up the hill from the cabin. Educational.

We didn't have much snow for skiing, but enjoyed the trail out of the cabin up to Middle Peak. We also hiked the trails into Bond Lake, Deerhead Lake, and out to Dinner Station. All good. Our only concern was that there didn't seem to be a lot of firewood supply, unless it is stashed in the locked outbuilding. Other than that, great cabin and good time.

lock was hard to open cabin clean, no proof of mice till we got settled in, then we got 'em The wood stove in the bunkroom needs the rope replaced, it was hard to keep an even heat going will definitely reserve again
