A simple, quiet getaway in the Yaak valley. We usually prefer to camp in the more private locations such as cabins an lookouts, so we were a little apprehensive about going to a public campground. It was quiet with plenty of space between camp sites. We took our 5 and 3 year old grand children. They had a great time! (grandma and grandpa too!). The outhouse was exceptionally clean, by far one of the cleanest that we have seen in a USFS campsite.

Great site. Bathroom was the cleanest we have EVER experienced. Kudos to the site manager.

We stayed in September. The camp ground was quiet, only 2 other campsites were occupied. It sits right next to the Yaak river. It was beautiful and peaceful. It had bunk beds and table and chairs. You will need to bring all of your supplies just as if you were camping. Bring your own firewood if you do not want to buy it from the camp host.
