This was a wonderful surprise! It was so roomy, comfortable, well equipped, and full of very interesting history -- in a beautiful setting. We hope to return often! We were so grateful for the affordable price. (We usually cannot stay in cabins because of the expense, so this was definitely worth the responsibility of cleaning it before leaving.)

Great cabin, fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils you could need. Went end of May and had water. Beds are very comfortable, like sleeping in your own bed.

We have been fortuntate to stay here twice in the last five years, and both times were amazing. We love everything about this place, including the location, serenity, cleanliness of the cabin, and most of all, the fireplace. My only suggestions, and this is being very picky, would be to repair the screens so we can have the fresh air without any bugs coming in, and have a small whellbarrow in the wood shed to help old folks carry wood to the house. Evenso, this place is our absolute favoite adventure spot.

In spite of the low snow year, the cabin was exquisite. I am used to skiing in with a gear sled. We did get 1/2” of new snow the morning we left. Thanks to USFS for a first rate facility.

The cabin was very clean and organized. Well stocked and even had running water in the kitchen sink! The bathroom was super clean as well. Will definitely come back!

Always a pleasure, and don't forget to pack your LED lanterns! Next time I come I'll print out the most recent XC ski trail map as the paper copies in the book are out of date and missing some trails. Enjoy!
