2016 Thor Vegas 26.5 - RV rental near Roswell, GA

RV overview

We call her "Laputa," the Castle in the Sky. We bought her to do more travelling with our infant daughter, but she spends most of her time looking forlorn in our driveway and wanting to go on more adventures due to my husband's and my schedules not syncing well right now. We have gone a few places in her, and have always enjoyed it- the beds are astonishingly comfortable for an RV, especially since we added memory foam to the queen bed- and we keep high-quality bamboo sheets on all of them. She doesn't drive like a big bus, like so many RVs... in fact, she drives like a big passenger van, so if you can drive a large SUV or 15-passenger van, then you can drive her just fine. She has an upgraded navigation and media system, with the awesome feature that when you turn on your turn signal, the side-view cameras come on immediately to ensure you have no blind spots. Same with the rear camera: put her in reverse, and you'll immediately be able to see behind you. She has a rear slide-out to ensure you have plenty of room, and we've slept 5 pretty comfortably- even allowing everyone to divvy up what they wanted to watch on TV with the 3 built-in TVs. We did a little upgrading so that one of the TVs (visible from the bench seat for the kids) can show DVDs while you're driving *without* turning on the generator as well. She does NOT have an outside grill, but she does have a TV and awning outside, so we always just use the grill provided by the RV park, or cook inside if it's raining. She can pull your trailer if you'd like to take motorcycles or ATVs somewhere, but we will be much pickier about who rents with a trailer as the potential for damage is higher. The Castle in the Sky is ready to drift off onto her next adventure with you.
