Hey, I’m Uncle Norm. Technically, I’m a brand-new 2026 Jayco Redhawk SE 29KF. But nobody wants to yell that across a campground, so Uncle Norm it is. I’m 32 ft of road trips, campfires, questionable s’mores decisions, morning coffee, belly laughs and stories your family will probably tell for years. I’m not really in the RV business. I’m in the “remember that weekend when…” business. What’s life with me like? Wake up somewhere beautiful. Start the coffee. Make pancakes while somebody wanders around in pajamas. Spend the day hiking, swimming, exploring, tailgating—or doing absolutely nothing because doing absolutely nothing is seriously underrated. Then light a fire, pull up some chairs and stay outside way later than you planned. When you’re ready to come inside, I’ve got you covered. I sleep up to 6 with FOUR separate sleeping areas: a private rear bed, big cab-over bed, convertible dinette and a loveseat that folds into another bed. I’ve also got a full kitchen with refrigerator, cooktop and convection microwave, private bathroom and shower, heat, A/C, Smart TV, plenty of storage, onboard generator and automatic leveling. Basically, you can tell everyone you’re “roughing it” while sleeping in a real bed with air conditioning and your own bathroom. I won’t tell anybody. Want to take me on the road? LET’S GO. Yes, I’m a big guy—but I’m surprisingly easy to get along with. Underneath all this handsomeness is a Ford E-450 with a 7.3L V8, automatic transmission, power steering, cruise control, backup camera, big mirrors and stability control. Before you leave, my people will give you a complete walkthrough and make sure you’re comfortable with everything. Give me a little extra room, take your time, and driving me starts feeling natural pretty quickly. And there’s something awesome about realizing your kitchen, bathroom, beds and refrigerator are all coming along for the ride. Try doing THAT in a minivan. Or…I can come to YOU. This might be my favorite trick. If your idea of camping is: “Wouldn’t it be great if we could just show up and everything was ready?” Yep. I do that. Ask about my DELIVERY & CAMPSITE SETUP around the Kansas City area. You reserve the site. My people bring me out, park me, auto-level me, connect the available utilities and get me ready for your arrival. When possible, we’ll even put out the outdoor rug and chairs. You arrive. Unpack. Pull up a chair. Vacation has officially started. When the adventure is over, pack your things, give me a little goodbye pat and head home. My people will come get me. It’s basically camping with room service. Perfect for family weekends, first-time campers, romantic getaways, Chiefs games, tailgating, weddings, festivals, reunions or anyone who wants the camping experience without the setup. Want Wi-Fi? I can bring optional Starlink high-speed internet. Sometimes getting away means disconnecting completely. Sometimes it means sitting under the stars while the kids stream a movie inside. Both count. But here’s what I’m REALLY for… Life gets busy. Work. School. Practices. Meetings. Emails. Laundry. Another week disappears. Then another year. And those little people in your house have this annoying habit of getting bigger. That’s why I love these trips. For a few days everybody is going the SAME direction. You eat together. Explore together. Get lost together. Laugh about getting lost together. You sit around a fire and have conversations that somehow never happen sitting in the living room at home. I’ve even considered installing a lockbox for everybody’s phones. Apparently holding an entire family’s iPhones hostage until they make eye contact with each other is “frowned upon.” Fine. I’ll leave that decision to you. Because years from now, nobody will remember what emails were waiting at the office or what they were scrolling through. But somebody might still say: “Remember that trip we took in Uncle Norm?” That’s the good stuff. So grab your favorite people. Pack WAY too many snacks. Pick somewhere you’ve been meaning to go. Make the coffee. Burn a pancake. Stay outside until the fire burns down. Laugh until somebody snorts. Don’t worry about making the trip perfect. The imperfect parts usually become the best stories anyway. I’m Uncle Norm. I’ve got a full tank, a bunch of beds and absolutely nowhere else I need to be.
