2022 Thor Freedom Elite 23H | Solar | Sleeps 5 - RV rental near Rochester, NY

RV overview

Perfect for a family of four or five, a couple who wants room to spread out, or first-time RV renters who want something easy to drive. At just under 25 ft, this 2022 Freedom Elite fits in regular campsites and most state park loops in the Finger Lakes, Letchworth, and the Adirondacks, and it drives like a big van, not a bus. Three things set it apart: 1. Camp off-grid. A 200 W rooftop solar panel and two house batteries keep the lights, fans, and water pump running without hookups, and the fridge runs on propane when you are off-grid. A built-in 4 kW generator runs the air conditioner and microwave anywhere. Four generator hours a night are included. 2. Furnished for 5. Bedding for every bed and a stocked kitchen kit: pots, pans, baking trays, dishes and utensils, and a Keurig coffee maker (bring your own pods). Bring your own bath towels and toiletries (shampoo, soap, and the like are not provided). 3. Pickup or delivery. Pick it up in Brighton, near Monroe Community College, or have it delivered and hooked up at your campsite anywhere within 50 mi of Rochester. Delivered trips mean you never drive it at all. Sleeps 5: rear queen bed (54 x 80 in), cab-over bunk (54 x 96 in) with privacy curtain, and a dinette that converts to a single bed. Five seatbelts, so everyone who sleeps aboard rides aboard. Inside: full kitchen with range and oven, microwave, gas/electric fridge, pull-down faucet; dry bath with a real shower stall and skylight; 40 in TV; roof air conditioning and furnace; day/night shades; wood-look floors. Outside: 15 ft power awning with LED lights, 69.5 cu ft storage, backup camera, outdoor patio mat and camp stove included. Optional add-ons per trip: camp chairs (set of 5) $20, hammocks (set of 3) $15, pop-up canopy $25, tank dump service $100. House rules: no smoking or vaping, no pets, no towing, no festivals or tailgating, renters 25+. 100 mi and 4 generator hours per night included. Return fuel and propane at pickup levels and tanks empty (or prepay the dump service). Pickup 3:00 PM, return by 11:00 AM. Bought new in 2022 and owner-maintained. You get a full walkthrough at pickup and a printed house manual with step-by-step instructions for the generator, water, and tanks.
