RV overview
Meet Pixel - Most camper vans are advertised as ready for adventure. Pixel has already proved it. Pixel is a 2024 Thor Sequence 20K designed for two travelers who want the freedom of a camper van without giving up a real kitchen, bathroom, bed, climate control, storage or internet. We are the original owners and know this van inside and out. Last summer, Pixel carried us and our three dogs on a 78-day trip through 16 states and 17 national parks from Spokane to Cherokee, North Carolina, and back. Along the way, it handled national park campgrounds, dispersed boondocking, Harvest Hosts, big-city downtowns, mountain highways, and luxury RV resorts. And it looks good doing it! That trip taught us what really matters on the road, and we have equipped Pixel to make your trip as easy and comfortable as possible. Sleeps 2 | 22.5 ft long | Gasoline | Full wet bath | 400 Ah lithium | Pet-friendly with approval | Starlink available Easy To Drive - It drives like a car. Seriously, it is a joy to drive. At 22.5 feet long the Pixel drives and parks much more like a full-size truck than a traditional motorhome. Drive right into that grocery store and park in a standard parking space. It uses standard gasoline, so there is no diesel fuel or DEF to worry about. Seats 4 while driving; sleeps 2. There are seatbelts for 4 people, two up front, two on the couch. Driving features include: • Ram ProMaster 3500 High Roof 2WD (front wheel drive) • Gasoline Pentastar V6 Engine (plenty of power, and gets around 15 mpg) • Automatic transmission • Backup camera • Keyless entry & remote start • Touchscreen dash control panel / stereo • Full-size spare tire • Spare 5-gallon fuel can • Compact Class B: 22 feet 6 inches and 9 feet 6 inches tall with storage boxes. Standard 80 inches wide. (21 feet long without The Shed) Pixel is a good choice for first-time Class B travelers who are comfortable driving a full-size truck or van. We provide a complete orientation before departure so you understand the electrical system, water system, climate controls, bed, kitchen and campsite hookups. Built For Two - The rear lounge gives you a comfortable place to relax, eat, read or work after a day of exploring. At night, it converts into the sleeping area in about one minute. Sleeps: 2 Bed dimensions: 78" x 57" (I am 6'3" 220 lbs and I am perfectly comfortable.) The front captain’s chairs swivel around to the living area, giving you additional foot room in bed and seating without taking up more floor space. Serious Off-Grid Capability - Pixel is especially well suited for travelers who want more choices than a standard full-hookup RV campground. The electrical system includes: • Re(Li)able 400 Ah lithium battery system • 200 W rooftop solar • 3000 W inverter • Victron smart battery monitoring • RVMaster coach-control system • Additional 200 W portable solar panel (included) The lithium system runs the household outlets, USB charging, lights, refrigerator, water pump, and normal coach systems without shore power. The 200 W rooftop panel and included 200 W portable panel can extend off-grid stays, although solar production depends on weather, season, shade, and how much power you use. Extended air conditioning or heating system use will reduce the battery-only use time. They draw far more power than the other systems in the van. Extended use away from electrical hookups requires the optional Westinghouse propane inverter generator. Do not plan on extended air conditioning from the batteries alone. Starlink Connectivity Add-On - Pixel has an optional Starlink Gen 3 system powered directly from a switched 12-V circuit, so it does not require the inverter. Service depends on location, obstructions and network availability, but we have successfully used the system while traveling through the most remote parts of the country. The Shed - We replaced the standard rear bike rack with a lightweight aluminum storage box that we call “The Shed.” It keeps 2 camp chairs, an outdoor rug and folding table outside the living space. You can set up camp in minutes without carrying a pile of outdoor equipment inside the van or blocking access to the bathroom. A Thule rear-door 2-bike rack is available instead of The Shed when requested before the trip. The Garage - Two Overland Vehicle Systems storage boxes provide 234 quarts of secure, weather-resistant gear storage. This is especially helpful for hiking equipment, dog supplies, fishing gear, helmets, shoes and other items you may not want inside the living area. The Kitchen Includes - • Portable induction cooktop • Contoure convection microwave oven • 4.1 cu. ft. refrigerator • 1.2 cu. ft. freezer • Stainless-steel sink • Pop-up electrical outlets with USB power • 27-gallon fresh-water tank (2-3 days with short showers and normal use) • 13.3-gallon gray-water tank • 13.5-gallon heated black-water tank The upright refrigerator is easy to access without getting down on your knees and digging around for the eggs. Bathroom and Climate Control - The enclosed wet bath includes a shower, toilet and sink, so you are not dependent on campground facilities or roadside bushes. Pixel also includes: • Air conditioning • Propane central heating • Propane water heater • Heated holding tanks • Three-season insulation • Thermostat-controlled climate system Pet-Friendly With Prior Approval - • Our three dogs - 120-lb yellow lab and two 20-lb Chihuahua/Terriers - traveled with us for 78 days. The bed has been raised 2 inches to give the doggos more room to sleep under the bed, or for more storage. • Add the optional Westinghouse generator to run the thermostat-controlled air conditioning at camp on hot days. • "Pets On Board - Climate Controlled" stickers, gear storage in The Garage for dog supplies. Awning and Outdoor Living - • The power awning creates a comfortable shaded outdoor space, while The Shed lets you unload the chairs, rug and table without disturbing the interior of the van. • The awning is the single most commonly damaged item on any camper van, and damage is not covered. Retract it any time wind picks up, before you leave camp, and every night before bed. Wind gusts can arrive without warning and will bend the arms or tear the fabric in seconds. Never leave the awning extended unattended, and never leave it out overnight. If you are unsure whether conditions are safe, retract it. Guests are responsible for the full cost of awning repair or replacement. Optional Add-Ons - • Starlink service is available as an optional add-on. Requires a clear view of the sky, so heavy tree cover and canyon walls will limit it. Performance depends on your location and network conditions. • Pet fee, for well-behaved dogs with prior approval. • Thule rear-door two-bike rack in place of The Shed, with advance notice. • Three-person tent • Coleman two-burner propane stove • Additional camping chairs • Hammocks • 22" Blackstone griddle • 6-foot folding full-size plastic table • 6-foot folding bar-height table • Westinghouse iGen4500 propane inverter generator with remote start. Recommended for extended air-conditioning use or longer stationary off-grid stays. Includes one full propane cylinder and the required connection equipment. The generator must be operated outdoors in accordance with its operating instructions, never inside the van, under the awning, or near an open window, door, or air intake. Campground generator hours and restrictions still apply. • One full propane cylinder • Correct propane hose and regulator • Remote • Security cable and lock • Instruction Manual Ready For Your Trip - You do not need to recreate our 78-day trip. Pixel is equally happy at a lakeside campground, on a national park loop, beside a trailhead, downtown, or on a long cross-country adventure. It has already taken us on the adventure of a lifetime. Now it is ready for yours. Reserve Pixel for your trip today!
