We had a fantastic time camping at Furnace Creek. We enjoyed the flushing toilets and the washing station behind the bathrooms. The site was clean and the camp host was friendly and respectful of our privacy.

Great.
My only objection was that the restroom lights
(very white spectrum) shone out over a bunch of
the sites. For a "dark sky" certified place this is not optimal.

Mid-March, and it was HOT! Fortunately, our tent campsite had some shade where we found refuge from the sun for several hours every day. We did most of our sightseeing early in the morning and late afternoon and early evening.
The campsites are quite small; you can hear your neighbors chatting in their tent or at their picnic table. Fortunately, everyone kept quiet hours during our visit.
Complaints: 1) The dishwashing/gray water disposal sinks were filthy and didn't appear to be cleaned at all during our 4-night stay. 2) Someone came to clean the restrooms once, as far as I could tell. The toilet paper was replenished and one of the two sinks appeared to have been cleaned, but the floor remained unswept/unwashed.
Death Valley National Park surprised me with its immensity and its stark and varied beauty. We were lucky enough to see lots of wildflowers during a Superbloom year (be aware that a Superbloom in the desert isn't on the same scale as one near the ocean or in the mountains, but all those flowers in an arid and hot desert are amazing).
