The Horseshoe Road Recreation Area offers a peaceful camping experience right by the river, ideal for fun activities. While the campsites are small and the area can get busy during the day, the serene atmosphere makes it a worthwhile destination. Visitors should be aware of mosquitoes in the evening.

We had a lot of fun in the river but the campsites are tiny and the area gets very busy during the day.

Great camp spot! Super peaceful, right next to the river. Keep in mind that mosquitos get really bad around sunset time. However, it is worth it for a quiet night out on the river!
