If I could, I would give this place 0 stars because it is the worst and most unprofessional place I have ever experienced. The person they employ as a host tries to manipulate you just to get more money out of you. They completely ignore your concerns and even hang up the phone on you.

We shared all the evidence of the issues we experienced with Airbnb and were only able to get our money back through them. I absolutely do not recommend this place — don’t let these people ruin your vacation.

The property itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and it works well for a quick weekend getaway.

However, there were several execution issues, especially during the transition to Marriott. The cabins are smaller and closer together than expected, and we experienced plumbing limitations( if one person flushed the toilet, the other had to wait before flushing again).

We traveled with our dog and kept him leashed at all times, but neighboring guests allowed their dogs to roam freely between cabins. Despite this, we received a general leash reminder, which felt frustrating given the inconsistent enforcement.

Our biggest issue was with late checkout. We paid in advance for late checkout when booking (prior to the Marriott transition), but at checkout were told this option did not exist. As in, they keep trying to tell us it didn’t exist. We had to provide proof of purchase to avoid losing the fee, and while the team ultimately resolved it, the situation was stressful and cold.

We also paid in advance for amenities and add-ons that were later offered freely to other guests. While appreciated, this felt awkward given the upfront costs.

Additionally, the cabin’s first aid kit was empty, which was concerning from a safety standpoint and the heating wasn’t enough so bring extra blankets.

Overall, we enjoyed the setting and the staff was responsive, but this stay feels best suited for 1–2 nights. We wouldn’t choose it for a 5+ day stay at this price point ($450 per night). Maybe if it was much cheaper we’d enjoy it more.

We have stayed at a different Postcard cabin location before and loved it. However, we were disappointed with our experience at this location.

Staff communication was great. They replied quickly when we had questions/needed stuff.

Upon entering the cabin, they didn’t have bowls for our dogs as told (we paid for the $50 pet fee ahead of time). You could also tell that the cabin was not cleaned as good. Hair and dust all over the window area as well as the bed. As we prepared to start our camp fire, the lantern in our room was not charging or turning on at all. The staff were able to give us a replacement. There were no lighters available in our cabin either to start our fire. We had to text the staff again to bring us some. At this point, we were already disappointed with the lack of equipments in our cabin and had to keep asking the staff for items.

Just as mentioned about the window and bed being dirty above, the bathroom was the same. The shower handle and the head were grimey and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Random hair and dirt on the toilet bowl. The first aid kit was empty and also had hair in it.

The ac also was not working.

With the priced we’ve paid, it was definitely not worth it at all. It’s not as relaxing when the cabin is dirty and not fully functioning.

Our experience here was pleasant. Came here with my spouse for our wedding anniversary. It’s truly an amazing glamping experience.. though i wished they’d remove on their website the “private fire pit” or at least mentioned that it can only be used on who knows when.. if the fire ban is lifted or something.. it kinda sucks but of course, i must not ruin my stay there. Also, it’s nice if they can place an outdoor heater so you can at least stay outside for a bit at night time. We highly recommend this place for those who want to go camping but are concerned about having their own bathroom. Also, there’s a first aid kit, but it’s empty. Glad we didn’t need to use it but just bring your own. If you want to de-stress and just rest.. this is really a wonderful place to stay. We felt safe as well. Staff answers our questions fast.
Also, we brought 2 fleece blankets as it’s blazing cold cuz i cannot use heater too long. It gives me headache. Also, perhaps bring extra pillow.. if you have back issues like me.. you need to bring your pillow to help you. The mattress was good to sleep in.. it’s comfortable. Just bring your own stuff too. Also, not much outlet so bring extension cords

This little getaway was totally spontaneous — I just wanted to escape the fast pace of the city. But the stay here completely blew me away! The cabin was so cozy and relaxing, and it had everything you could possibly need — from heating, fridge, and snacks to speakers, lovely decor, full sets of dishes, pots, pans, and even a gas stove. Everything was perfectly prepared.
Absolutely a 10/10 experience! 🌲✨
