Area was well maintained (clean restrooms, showers and camp sites) and camp hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a very quiet beautiful campground. There is Spanish moss hanging from the trees, so for some of us that don't get to see it very often, this is a treat. There seems to be check in people at the gate almost all the time. The bathrooms are great, and there is a washing machine for some laundry. The camp spots are pretty level and have a gravel surface to them. We liked this campground so much we stayed here twice on two different occasions.

Wonderful park. Was alarmed when alerted at check-in about Argentine Ants and were recommended to go back into town to buy Ajax/Comet cleansers to broadcast around camper. Why is this not part of reservation/confirmation email that the ants may be an issue?

We had no problems. Bath house was a bit dated, but it was usable.
