Beautiful scenery all around. Easy walk to Alturas Lake. Good hiking trails close by. Campsites are large and spaced out. Short drive to Stanley. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful spot! Loved that it was fairly spread out and within walking distance to the lake.

Camp host Tammy was fabulous! She was attentive and responsive and worked hard to keep the campground running smoothly. The one complaint we had was the condition of the road. There were so many potholes all throughout the entire loop road and they were deep.

The camp host was great. This campground had the best vault toilets I've ever used.

Pretty lake with a nice swimming beach. Sites were nicely spaced. Quite a few mosquitoes when we were there in mid-July. Our site did not have any decent tent pads, (perhaps it was meant for an RV?) we heard that there was a tent loop under renovation. We were charged an additional fee for a second car even though it it on our site’s parking pad which made this campground rather expensive (a price I’d generally assume came with flush toilets and showers.) Picnic table and fire pit were awkwardly tall and in need of updating. No recycling amenities.

Awesome campsite. Tammy the host was super nice as well. Even though it was packed crowded with people and kids, I had a pretty private site. Mosquitoes were ruthless!

We stayed at the Alturas Lake Inlet Campground the week after Labor Day. The campground was very quiet and the sites spaced far enough apart that we had ample privacy. The lake was beautiful (we took our canoe). The Host was very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent stay!

Great location right on the lake. A few spots are a bit tight for a 30 foot trailer. The bathrooms were super clean. As the weekend approached most sites filled up but the sites are spaced out enough where you don’t see your neighbor.

The campground was built on wetlands! Depending on the time of year and site, be prepared for some water in the site.
