Most everything fine except for allowing too many vehicles per campsite. Should enforce the rules.

The park is so clean and well managed, the sites are well marked and the lady at the fee booth is so friendly and helpful. The park is half way between Savana and Fulton Illinos with Clinton, Iowa just across the river from Fulton. The park has 30 Amp and 50 Amp electric plus water at each site, and there is a blue tote dump near the shower house.
There is plenty to do in both Savana and Clinton as well as shopping. Thomson is small and has one restaurant but it is a cut above others. You will enjoy your stay and look forward to returning.

We Love camping at Thomson Causeway. The sites are big and quiet. It is close to a world-class bike trail and there is a lot to do in the area. The fee taker is very friendly and the park is well maintained.

We have been to Thomson many of times. Not once has there been any activity at the out theater. Movies or informational programs would be nice.
The bike trail to Fulton is very rough after leaving the park. It is out of the park but need attention.

Beautiful views. Campground very well maintained and restrooms/showers were kept very clean and stocked with supplies. Water hydrants were recently installed at each campsite. Very nice, but ours had low water pressure (53), compared to our neighboring site. Highly recommend and we plan to come again.
