Trees need to be trimmed, my antenna was badly bent and my rubber roof has to be replaced.

Acorn Valley CG - an unexpected, pleasurable experience. We enjoyed a clean and spacious grassy campsite. The walk-in site was just a few yards from the parking. The bathrooms were clean with hooks on the wall. We will stop in again on our next cross country drive.

Good stay, wasn’t able to fish in the pond with my grandkids. The pond wasn’t accessible and was covered in a green carpet of slim. Wish they could clean the pond so it usable for the grand kids. In past years we caught fish and had a great experience.

Everything else was great. I’ll be back next year.

I found the Campground clean and level where I set my tent up. I wish it had been more quiet as there were cars coming and going late into the evening. I certainly understand without having a gate that closes at a certain time, people will come and go throughout the night.

The RV area is on the small side but clean and nice with good access to a decent bathroom/shower.

Although a large reservoir is nearby, you can't see it or access it from the campground.

Beautiful location. Small loop of approximately 27sites. Loved that there were numerous CCE campgrounds surrounding lake and the many easy to navigate hiking trails within the park system.
This is probably one of the nicest CCE parks we have ever been in.
We would definitely come back to this location if we were to travel to the Saylorville area in the future.
