What Guests Are Saying
Clark's Ferry is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, making it a pleasant destination for camping and boating. The hosts are friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere, while the campground offers ample shade and spacious sites. However, the proximity to railroad tracks results in frequent train noise, which may be disruptive for some visitors.

There was some confusion to us about the water spigot. We were there only overnight so we had water with us. We did see there are spigots along the road. Wow, this place is gorgeous! Well kept, clean, and great views of the river.

Campgrounds were nice. The big downfall was the trains running right next to the track, especially in the evening and blowing their horns. Sounded like they were coming right through the camper. One evening there had to be 7 or 8 that went through. On another evening, they were hooking up cars so there was a lot of loud banging. We didn't sleep real well here and will not stay here in the future because of the trains. There was a nice state park (Wildcat Den) that had very nice hiking trails, which we enjoyed.

Nice clean restrooms with showers. Fireflies were out in the evening, but not too buggy.

I was in site 18 (back row) had the railroad tracks right behind me. Trains go 24 hours 🥴. Was there 4th of July weekend so packed park and sites closer together than other COE parks. Clean shower house and friendly host, but the trains were too much along with the fireworks just on the other side of the trains. I have a dog who is terrified of them so we didn’t get much sleep

We had a great experience with helpful and location relaxing along the river. Train can be "interesting" as it travels throughout the entire day. Fellow campers very welcoming and helpful.

My time at Clark’s Ferry was pleasant with it being located on the banks of the Mississippi River. It was in relatively close proximity to Rock Island, Davenport and Le Claire which I toured all three during my stay.
