Cottonwood Point is praised for its beautiful, clean campsites and scenic views by the lake, making it a great spot for water sports and relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, well-maintained facilities, and friendly atmosphere, with some returning frequently for the calming experience. Very nice camping facility and excellent camp hosts. Looking forward to get back to Cottonwood camp site, probably next weekend.

We really enjoyed the full hookups. Park was well kept. They need gravel in front of each pad. It was real muddy in front of each parking lot as you pulled out of RV pad.

Well-maintained campground. Campsites feel more private than so many places we stay. The covered picnic shelters at every site are a real bonus. Clean bathhouses.

Other than being there in the rainy season, great.

Cottonwood Point is a pretty location. Camp sites are well spaced and nice views. Lots of birds and wildlife. Due to the heavy rain during the weekend we could suggest improving site 39. Please consider putting more gravel in the parking spot. Also, consider putting a diversion berm to deflect runoff from the paved road and divert runoff around to the west end of the site. The picnic shelter was not usable due to runoff and mud flooding across the concrete pad.

We had a great time.
It was a little difficult to back into the spot due to the culvert and signs, but we managed.
We did have an issue with the 50 amp and had to use 30 amp, but we did not need the ACs for that weekend as it was cool.
Overall, we had a great time.

We noticed a lot of unoccupied campers and we get fined. I only hope they got fined as well.
