What Guests Are Saying
Hillsboro Cove is a well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites, many of which offer beautiful waterfront views. Visitors appreciate the proximity to the beach area and the availability of amenities like clean restrooms and picnic tables. However, there are some concerns regarding maintenance, including issues with power, hot water in showers, and the condition of the entry road, which detracts from the overall experience for some guests.

The site was not as level as other sites we have used at Hillsboro Cove. In the past there was hot water for the showers.

Very nice spot right on the water. Site 12 was great and close to the bathroom as well.

We were traveling through looking for a convenient location on Hwy 56. It was great and loved the layouts of
the campsites. Will return.

Loved the view of the lake out of my windows. It’s a very clean campground,
Also very quite and I liked that it didn’t have street lights glaring down all night long.

Water lines to campground need repaired. Pit-toilet at boat ramp wasn’t resupplied during our stay and men’s toilet needs repaired. The park could use some maintenance work.

There is a camp host that appears to live there. However the place is never mowed, the water was not working, electricity was not working. This used to be an awesome place to camp and was well kept but it has went down over the last year.

Great place to stay. We were there early so all the amenities were not open. But it was good

A wonderful site overall! Love that each site had a table and covered area. Unfortunately, the water was not on as we expected. Otherwise, really nice and clean camp.
