Stayed 2 nights here, park was nice. Wind blew terrible the whole time we were here, hurricane Ida was causing flooding. We thought we might have to evacuate because of high water. Staff at this park was friendly, we were in site 43 a really long site. Plenty of room for our 36 foot long fifth wheel. Bathhouse was old but clean.

Arrived to find our favorite spot had been decimated by a storm in July. With the assistance of a very friendly and helpful Park Attendant (Mrs. Pierce) we were able to change sites. Bath house in the Loblolly loop was very clean. Contract employees that were mowing were very.friendly and professional. It was a great trip with beautiful weather.

Yes it had flooded prior to my arrival. Yes, there was lots of bugs. But overall, it was sweet because I was the only one there. On a full moon! I could see all around me with no light. I was shocked the next morning to not only see beautiful bathrooms that were clean but there was also a beautiful showers and laundry. I did not do the laundry portion, but I surely enjoyed a spa like shower experience out in the middle of nowhere. The only thing I wish I had was my kayak. I will most certainly return, even if there’s people there, the spaces are really far apart from each other.
