Our trip was amazing as always. River and people were all great. Only downfall was the restroom wasn’t very clean. Only one sink was working in woman’s restroom. Never seen the cleaning person. They also took the soap dispensers out??

There is no cell service. on the RV side many of the water spickets still leak significantly and will not stay "on" unless you tie them down. The camp host has a dog that bites. there are never any spots available to reserve or, they show they are reserves yet when we were there, there were at least 5 sites unoccupied.

A pipe broke for the main bathhouse on the A loop. We were really impressed with how fast they had it fix and back up and running!

I loved how nicely the grass was cut and how clean everything was but the camping spaces are just on top of each other and there was no privacy at all! Our campfire ring was so close to the next camper and their vehicle was parked right at our camper window!! We won’t be staying there again.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. It is a wonderful place but the last 5 years or so there has been a decline in the natural beauty and peace due to more people living near the black River. More ATVs, motor boats, and loud music. The campground is well maintained and clean though.

Site capacity
- Each site can accommodate two camping units: either one wheeled unit and one tent, or two tents, with a maximum of 10 people.
Fires & fuel
- Restrictions on firewood are in place to prevent invasive pests and diseases.
- To protect forests, buy firewood locally and burn it on-site; do not move firewood from other locations.
Safety & rules
- Generators are not allowed to be used.
Vehicles & parking
- ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts cannot be operated in developed recreation areas.
