Alley Spring

Nice area along the river. Be Aware that Alley Spring campsites were mud covered on each and every site. Recommend bringing a hose or pressure washer get rid of the mud or you'll be bringing it into your camper.

Very quiet campground during day & night

I grew up at this campground so now with having children of my own I'm doing the same thing with them and they absolutely love it. Great swimming areas for all families, I believe they have the best rates for camping, clean bathrooms and showers, they do a great job with keeping the campground clean and maintained. Will continue going.

Great location right on the River with good access. Site was a bit muddy have much rain. Bathrooms were good. Ranger presentations were very good. Would like to hear about geology of the river and springs.
Would be great if you couild get cell service into the park

Nice quiet park, but no cell reception at all,

The Park Rangers a absolute bullies who appear to hate tourists. Through the week we saw several out of state vehicles stopped inside the campground. For the ones in our group it was no seat belts in the park or my kid riding on his mom's lap while driving to the water, 5 miles an hour in the camp ground. But a truck with Missouri plates with four kids in the back could drive right by them or a side by side loaded down with kids, no belts and it's fine. when they stop you you're guaranteed a sobriety test followed by a breathalyzer, whether you've been drinking or not, they will find a reason. There are too many parks where you can enjoy yourself without fear of crooked law enforcement. After two bad encounters with two different people in our group a friend complained to the camp host while visiting my site, within ten minutes the same three park rangers who had been causing trouble show up at my site because they had "a noise complaint" the night before. The problem with that is there was no one on my camp site the night before. We spent the evening at a friend's site and my son and I went to bed early, the camp site was dark and quiet. Even if we were there the night before, why wait nearly 24 hours before talking to me? They were just sending a message. As they left one of them looked at me and said "just keep it down". Me and the group I was with are peaceful quiet folks none of us made any noise on any of our sites. Their message was clear to me and my friends, "keep quiet", it was a warning. I will never camp in Alley Springs again or even any where in the Ozark or near Eminence, if you're smart, or an out of stater, you will stay away too.

The park service crew is excellent!! Great job on keeping the campground a nice place.

Nice place to came. There was a family camped around me, camped on several spots. Late evening, several of them got in a big argument, screaming and cussing at each other for about 40 minutes. Finally some of them left but the remaining ones continued to argue. there wasn’t a hostess on the premises. I slept in my car and left the next day without staying the next day. More of their family came and I lost sleep the night before. I feel someone needs to be there overnight during summer. I just lost my money. The rest was good but I did not get to use the shower either. This is a good app and most places I have camped were great but won’t go back to Alley Springs. thank you.

The Jack's Fork was a great river to float! Harvey's is right across from the campground and took good care of us. There is also a great little swimming hole located in the campground.

Excellent campground except for having to reserve online. I like the iron ranger.
