We walked the nearby Jones Creek Trail and saw wild horses and a bison walking on the trail. We gave him space. We also went to the Medora Musical and Pitchfork fondue dinner. Both were amazing. It’s about 5 miles to the Visitors Center which you drive past on the way to the campground. At first we weren’t sure how to get to the campground.

Our reserved site was given to someone else. We were told it was closed for construction, which it clearly was not. Our replacement site was unlevel and covered with a plague of grasshoppers and caterpillers. The bathroom was a long way away.
