What Guests Are Saying
Cottonwood Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful experience with spacious, well-maintained sites and clean facilities. Many visitors enjoyed the close encounters with bison and the serene natural surroundings, making it a great spot for wildlife enthusiasts. While some noted issues with insects and site leveling, the overall atmosphere and friendly camp hosts contributed to a memorable stay.

We loved the park. We camped 2 nights, only had 1 full day, so we made the most of it. We didn't make it all around the South Loop drive, but we did part of it and the whole North Loop. We camped 2 nights at Cottonwood on our way to Glacier. It was great! And beautiful! We saw alot of wildlife, including wild horses, lots of bison, mule deer, wild turkeys. We love camping in the National Parks!!

Beautiful setting and spacing between sites. Everything was very well kept. The lighting on our older restroom was much kinder to the night sky than the newer LED lit facilities. The ranger program led by Luke was very good. Please tell Wendy Ross and the team thanks for all they do.
