The Cottonwood campground was great, I have no complaints at all. We saw wild horses less than 50 yards from our campsite. I suppose it would have been nice to be able to buy firewood from the campground, rather than going into Medora, but other than that I highly recommend this campground.

Great experience. We had some privacy in the trees. It’s only a short walk to river and a bison strolled through the campground after a morning drink. The night sky is fantastic.

Campground was in a great location in the park. Bathrooms were new and very nice and clean. We would have stayed longer but only stayed 2 nights because there were no shower facilities.
