We watched commercial fishing guides bring their clients to the water just off our site and catch large stripers. They threw back many I'd love to have.

Love this park. Plenty of breeze coming of the lake and beautiful trees in the back of the park.

I was in D-42 on a one way rode. The numbered post was facing with the traffic.
I arrived after dark and circled three times before other campers walked the area and guided me into a very awkward site.

The camping and facilities are fantastic. The staff at the gate are the best in the business. Always very helpful and full of ideas for other areas and ways to entertain the stay. We will take every chance we have to stay at this facility. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

Burns Run West COE on Lake Texoma is one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed at. We were in the wooded campground across the street from the lake with concrete pads, shaded sites, nice spacing between sites, and full hookups. Whoever designed this campground did a great job. Campsites along the lake had great views, but were much closer together. I didn't use the restrooms. I was only here overnight, but would have liked to stay longer and have an opportunity to paddle on the lake.

There is no security in the park. No one to enforce the rules after dark. Had to call the County Sheriff for loud groups at midnight. The site I was in faced the road and the neighbor. Don't use it. The water hook ups are too far, make sure you have extra hose. The people at the gate said they have no night security and can't keep people from coming in after hours.
