We loved the sites! Ours was very large and right on the water for beautiful sunsets every night!
The only drawback was the number of pickups that go through the parks only route way too fast for a family campground. There were a couple of young children in the camper next to us that were constantly at risk of being hit.
Other than that it was a wonderful stay! We only booked 2 nights as it was only supposed to be a connecting site but loved it so much we added a couple more nights on!

WE CAMP AT A LOT OF DIFFERENT CAMP GROUNDS, THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST WELL KEPT AND EASY IN AND OUT. THE SITE IS SO PRETTY, WE HAVE A GROUP OF ABOUT 8 DIFFERENT CAMPERS AND WE ALL ENJOY THIS SITE SO MUCH. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

We had a fantastic time. We spent 4 days and 3 nights there and loved it. It's a beautiful area to go to. Close to the water and for those without electric or water, they have hook ups. We got a little bit of rain the night before leaving, but we prepared ahead of time and had no issues. The only thing I should like to see there is a restroom facility in the group camp area. I'm not a fan of porta potty's, and having an actual toilet if really nice if you have little ones that go camping to. If you like to camp and hang out, this is the place to go. We've been here 3 times now and will be going back many more. Trust me if you haven't gone then plan a trip and go stay here, you'll be happy you did.

Nice campgrounds, two of the bathrooms, although clean, one has no lights in it, the other one had no hot water. The bathroom close to the front gate did have hot showers,
the bathroom / shower at the E camp ground had no hot water in the shower or at the sinks.

Camping spot was great. Getting through the front gate is a little harry. The Corps of Engineers need to remove the large tree and square of the road entering the gate and move the fence over or shorten the fence a ways. It's very difficult to pull a long 5th wheel trailer trough the main gate without hitting the building and/or the fence.

The campground was clean the gentleman at the gate was very friendly. The restrooms need some work. There are no lights after dark and no hot water or soap, paper towel or hand dryers. The showers were clean.
