An absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious campground with friendly camp hosts! They are a stickler for checkout time. It was 10 till and we were emptying tanks (full hookup site). They came around to "remind" us we needed to be gone by 4. Found that a little weird, but okay. :)

Burns Run West is a very nice area to Camp. We stayed in the "D" area and had good access to the beach. During the week we had quiet days and nights. However the weekend crowd started showing up Thursday evening and full camp by Friday evening. The camp got loud with a party atmosphere and the noise went way past the 10:00pm quiet time. Overall we had a good time and no issues with electricity or water. plenty of shade trees and good roads and campsites.

I had high hopes since this campground is only a 70 minute drive from my house. However, I had 2 issues that will keep me from going back.
1) I have an RV and the closest water source was 35 feet away. I had to go into town to buy a second water hose to reach it.
2) Campers blasted their stereos at full volume all day and evening, with every style you could think of, and each of them trying to compete with the volume of the others. And then they were still going at midnight.

Love camping here only issue is the trees on spot e13. Had to put camper in a way so we could put our slide out and then was not able to use awning. But that was the only issue.
