Great site. We parked a 33ft 5th wheel. Had 50amp and water. Only complaint is the site where you park the trailer was steep front to back. had to use 6" blocks in the back to get leveled up.
Great place to get away for a while. very nice area and was very clean.

I would like to recognize Darren our host @ Buckhorn Loop C. We had trouble with our electric jack as soon as we got there and it just got worse as the night went on. We had to manually let down the electric jack and then the camper shifted and it came off all blocks, broke the front 2 jacks and bent 1 of the back jacks. Darren came and helped us and we could not have made it without him. We had to buy a new electric jack and 3 camper jacks and Darren called the closest place to make sure they had them and then we right to our camp site as soon as we got back to help us put everything on. We finally got everything done and were able to enjoy the rest of our time there. Darren was our hero!!! There was no way we could have made it without him! Darren is a great worker and has an amazing heart!! There was no way we could have replaced the jacks by ourselves. We forgot our entire tool bag, so we had no tools to even think about changing a bunch of jacks. If it weren't for Darren helping us, we would have had to spend alot more money, time and our trip would have been ruined. Because Darren was so helpful and had all the tools, he got us back up and running so we were able to enjoy the rest of our time. Buckhorn was nice, pretty and we are very grateful to Darren that we were able to experience our time there. Again, Darren was super nice, attentive and he was 100% so helpful!!! Like I said before, there was no way that we could have done all that work to fix our camper and get us back up and running again. Because of DARREN @ BUCKHORN LOOP C we were able to have a great time at Chickasaw Nation Recreation Area. THANK YOU DARREN SOOOOO MUCH! WE LOVE YOU!

Nice campground, we'll maintained, clean, and roomy sites, tho the sites are a little close together. Bathhouse nice and clean. There were no lights in campground at night other than individual campers and bathhouse lights which made for nice dark sky viewing.

Only spent one night & did not have time to fully enjoy the site or the campground, but we liked what we were able to experience.

Fantastic campground in a beautiful setting. The site was perfectly level for our camper van, shady, overlooking the lake, with decent access to bathrooms and showers. The facilities were immaculate. What a wonderful find on our road trip! Would definitely stay here again.

We found a campground well cared for and appreciated the firewood provided by the forest service. We are now planning two more trips as we get used to camping outdoors.

I'm not gonna lie to you, or over explain in great detail the experience I had. Just know that I don't leave reviews often, but how could I not share my knowledge of the existence of this place!! Go, it's worth it.

The camp host was awesome. Helped orient me to where to setup my tent and even gave me a cold water when I arrived on the motorcycle. The bathrooms were clean and the pads were spacious. Lots of shade and easy walk to the lake for an incredible sunset.
