What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

First, it was a beautiful drive there. Campground manager was a sweet woman that kept the bathrooms clean (every day) our camp site was #9 great area, room for our 3 tents ⛺ and a kitchen tent. Had firewood there is you needed it, water was close by, the creek was nice hearing it at night when it was time for bed, place was beautiful, nice walk to the beach with all kinds of Vegetation and wild blackberries. Overall the place is great and I would recommend to people.

Most sites are right along the creek, although very small. Only a few sites would be able to accommodate more than one tent. Some are very private while others are open and very close to each other.

Very peaceful, mellow campground even though it was full on a weekend! The sites further up the creek are more private.

This campsite is a not-so-hidden gem along the OR coast. True, it's not right on the coastline, but is tucked away in beautiful old or second growth doug fir forest alongside a rippling creek. I love the small size of the camp, even though most of the sites are quite roomy. Fresh cold water is readily available, and the restrooms are very clean. I enjoyed a lovely visit and definitely plan on returning. NOTE: The site description probably makes this clear but this is NOT a campground for large RVs...

It was a very pleasant experience. We were able to ride our bikes to the beach. We would definitely return. It was a smaller less crowded campground which we liked. The hostess was very informative and helpful.
