What Guests Are Saying

Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

Tight fit, not enough space for the cars they allow in.

Love this camp site! Lee the campgrounds manager was really nice and helped us clean up and leave quick when we had to evacuate for the tsunami warning. I will come back next year and bring my sons to enjoy this beautiful place.

This campground is in a lovely spot hidden away in the forest but still very close to the beach. The host was very nice and the campsites were clean.
Unfortunately we had a terribly loud group next to us that took up the whole site 5/6/7 area (we were in site 8). The adults were loud past midnight, there were several constantly screaming children during the day, and their off-leash dogs would often bark and wonder into our site. We ended up leaving after the first night as it was not a peaceful experience.
If we come back we would stay in one of the last few sites as the first several are way too close together.

Quiet, beautiful campground. Campground host, Lee, is such a friendly, helpful person.
Just know sites 5, 6, 7 are one parking lot. The tent and picnic sites are spacious, but if you're in a trailer or RV, you could be tightly parked next to another.

This was our third experience at the campground and it was wonderful. We had the creek rushing by our tent, kingfishers flying overhead, Swainson's thrush popping out of the bushes and Pacific wrens singing their hearts out. The bathroom was kept very clean, except the hand sanitizer is always empty (there is no running water). The camp host is very friendly. He mentioned that you can get a little bit of cell service if you go to where the campground road meets the highway, which I appreciated knowing. We walked to the highway each night and were able to check in by text with our sitter (didn't have strong enough signal for anything else). Ocean beaches is a very close by for picnicking and walking on the beach (has a fee if you don't have a pass). Cape Perpetua is an amazing place to explore too (also has a small fee, which is very worth it!). All in all, a great experience.
