What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

The campground is great but I have a rooftop tent and cannot drive anywhere.
There is no trails to hike and it is a half mile from the beach .
Not a great campground for me . I will stick to the ocean side campgrounds.

A relatively small campground so it's relatively quiet. That said, most of the sites are small and/or close to adjoining sites, so most are not very private. Site 13 was relatively private compared to most others.

Weather was nice but windy. Not a fault of the park, just Mother Nature. It would be nice to be able to take a trail to the ocean from the campground without fording the creek. Maybe a trail along side the creek under the bridge? Great host also.
