What Guests Are Saying

Lake in the Woods Campground offers a beautiful setting and enjoyable experiences, particularly outside of busy holiday weekends. However, there were issues with noise during Memorial Day, limited restroom facilities, and concerns about the new payment system, which some find inconvenient. Overall, while the campground has its charm, improvements in facilities and payment processes could enhance the experience.

People shooting off shotguns, loud amplified music. This was for the three days of Memorial Day weekend. The rest of the time it was beautiful. I really nice campground. A drawback was that only one of the three toilets was in order.
I have doubts about the new payment system. I don’t believe that most of the people there were using it or paying. Many don’t have smart phones also the fact that you can only pay for I believe five days at a time instead of the full two week period that you’re allowed was a drawback. I originally was going to stay 10 days but the fact every time I re-upped for my site I had to pay a service charge was discouraging. It seems as though you’re making access to wilderness camping less available and not more.
