What Guests Are Saying
Idlewild Campground offers a peaceful atmosphere with well-spaced, shady sites among beautiful ponderosa trees. The campground was quiet during a late June visit, with excellent birding opportunities nearby. Amenities like potable water and a firefighter memorial garden enhance the overall experience.

Quiet campground, only a couple families there. Spots are well spaced, shady, beautiful ponderosas. Potable water was a plus and liked the firefighter memorial garden. Good birding as well

We enjoyed our three-night stay here in late June. Each night of our stay we were one of only three or four parties in the campground. It was quiet, and the birding was excellent from our campsite and along the trails.
