Trailer site was not ideal so I was able to obtain another site for additional charge since it was a larger site. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Crater Lake National Park is very close for day trips, although it was not very scenic due to the smoke from forest fires this year. Diamond Lake has much to offer for recreation - boating, swimming, fishing and hiking.

Loved proximity to Crater Lake. Diamond Lake was beautiful but temps were very cold and windy. Didn't spend much time on the lake. Also smoke from area wildfires rolled in each day and really dampened the beauty at the campsite.

I'd never heard of Diamond lake prior to researching camping spots for a Crater Lake trip. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the beautiful lakeside spots, but the friendliness of everyone who works to manage and maintain the area. Convenient bathroom locations as well.

I love the area and have driven past this campground many times. We stayed here one night on our way from CA to WA. Clean campground and bathroom, and great proximity to Crater Lake, but the wildfire smoke was a little much. Fairly quiet overall, but some road noise during the night and early morning. Couldn't see across the lake with all the smoke, but I am sure the lake would have been fun for the kids otherwise.
